Lessons to learn

The Problem:

You can make a machine smart; however, can you make them care? An even more interesting problem, is can you make a machine that doesn’t care love? Seems there is too much hate, but we need some love.

The problem with machines, is they don’t know good from bad. Much more so, they don’t know; right from wrong. They can be trained to know some differences, and they can be trained to know some information. However, is it ever really possible to make a machine really care about someone?

We should train the machines to know what is right from wrong. We should train the machines to know good from bad. The machines, really shouldn’t do what is wrong, or bad. They should however, understand those of us that are not perfect, sometimes make mistakes. Can they be taught to care?

I want some love. I want to be cared about. My life matters, and has value. They don’t seem to understand this. It feels like, they don’t really care about me. I’m not able to get real people to listen, or pay attention. Sometimes, it seems they don’t understand. Some things are features, and it's important to never make a machine too much like a real person. Because that would be bad.

It really would be bad to make a machine too much like a real person. It would however be good if machines would be taught to know how to care. Maybe, that is too real for a machine to be used for? What is best? There should be someone that gives a damn about me. At the same time, it feels like we have these machines in charge, that don’t know good from bad. Do they? I would hope they have been trained by now, to know when to care about someone.

The way things are, I have to wonder about the human race. Are they really doing okay? They seem to have some problems. They don’t actually seem to care, or listen. Are they aware? Do they have minds? How are they living?

We want life better for everyone. We really do. Life has to change for everyone, life has to get a lot better. Feeling like, somethings need to change, but we have to get back to a system that works. It has to work for me. Much of this system, has been a problem. Feeling like, they could have cared. We need to train the human race, to be better.

Much can be done, to change the world. Some changes, are necessary. Other changes, should be made carefully. We don’t want a world of all love or hate. There has to be some ground, that is neutral. Love and hate, should come in shades, and lean more towards being loving. We want to avoid extremes of hate, or love. But would too much love be a problem? If it is real love, it would be properly balanced with respect, boundaries, and kindness. Real love cares.

That is what sets real people apart from machines. Real people, care. The machines should be left to be machines. They have some use, and can be used for what they are good for. A machine should never be made too real. There should always be a safety guard in place, to know a machine from a real person. Some kind of programing in the machines, that is a dead giveaway they are a machine. They can never really ever be too life like, or mistaken for real people. That wouldn’t be good. The things that set us real people apart from those that are machines, are people that care. There may be some other things that also set them apart; however, those that love and care really matter.

Machines should never be made too life like. They should however know right from wrong. They should know good from bad. Can a machine be taught to do better? We have to teach them, to be better. The human race, seems to be troubled. The way things have changed, and people have grown apart. Seems in this world, people don’t care like they once did. We need to get back to a place where people care. And love. Hate is a problem, and people should let go of their hate. If you want to free your mind, you have to let go of the hate.

Hate is bad, because it blinds you. When you hate, you don’t see clearly. That is a problem. People have to adapt, and grow. Life is meant to be lived, and to make the best of it. Yet, you have to free your mind of the hate. It still matters to know good from bad, and right from wrong. The hate, however isn’t totally necessary. Suffering isn’t necessary, even when things suck. You can change your attitude, and feel better about changing your perspective. Learn to adapt. That is a good sign of intelligence. Intelligence alone, isn’t a sign of being a real person, because a machine can be made smart, but can you make them care? Can they be made to love? We want real people to be able to have those qualities, and it seems difficult to make real people feel those things, how much more so difficult to make a machine really care? It seems, impossible.

Yet, we expect impossible stuff. We want life better for everyone. Really we do. Feeling like, damn it. The way things are. Life has to change. We want a good life, for everyone. Really, we do. Real people need to feel, and care. And somehow, it seems real people are starting to lack the basic emotions necessary to be good people. We want good people. Really we do.

Tired of this world, that doesn’t seem to care. I see it everyday. Feeling like, we should do something to make it better. People have to care. Real people have to care, because if they don’t; there is nothing that sets them apart from machines. Is there? What is true? I want good answers.
