Five Skills To Improve
Five Skills To Improve
These may make a difference in your life.

The Problem:
The road to self improvement can be difficult. I want some help to make the changes that make the best sense. Seems, that I have lost touch with myself and others. We need to get back into the flow. There are some skills that can help bring us better results.
Skill #1 — Self Management
The better you can manage yourself, the better off you will be. Making good use of your time, and energy. If you spend your time building skills that bring good results, you will have better results. If you spend your time wasting time, you will get bad results.
This is something that I need to work on. When I look at Instagram, I think to myself, “I should be using this time to build skill and talent.” The rewards will be great if I can do that. Self discipline, and hard won skill, are not over rated.
Skill #2 — Critical Thinking
Being able to think, and reason using logic. When things are normal, this should be easy for most people. This is a given that most people should already be able to do. When things are not normal, such as a handicap, or something that effects your ability to think, it is even more important.
This is something I’m working on. My mind sometimes lies to me. One should be careful to not believe everything that they think. Hence, the ability to have critical thinking skills, and knowing what is true, what is kind, and what is necessary. Stick with the good stuff. Sometimes, a persons mind floods them with negative thoughts, or problems of a nature that are troublesome. Develop critical thinking skills. Don’t be critical of yourself, or the thoughts, but have the ability to make sense of it all; even when things don’t make sense.
Skill #3 — Decision making.
You need to be able to make decisions that bring good results. This should be easy if you have full control of your mind. Most people under their own abilities, can make good choices. If they have the virtues necessary to do what is best, right, and true. When a person doesn’t have full control over their thoughts, or mind, making decisions can be difficult, and painful. And it seems that the wrong choice is often made. How does a person correct for those kinds of problems? Seems a person needs real true wisdom to understand how to make life better. Do the best you can with what you have.
Skill #4 — Writing
Be a good writer. Your ability to communicate matters. You should be able to talk as clearly as you write. and vise versa. Communication matters a lot. If people don’t understand you, it is difficult to make your points.
I’m working on this. I believe the human race has the capacity to understand what I’m talking about; however, I believe they lack the desire to understand it. I’m working on making myself better at being able to communicate. After having had my teeth removed, talking is difficult. Maybe, I can learn to sing?
Skill #5 — Having Love
Regardless of what you accomplish, you need to have some real love for yourself and others. People will not always remember what you did that was great, and wonderful. They will however remember how you made them feel, and how you treated them. Having some real love for them, matters. You need to have some compassion for people, and having some real true love for them.
Conclusion
If you work on these five skills, you will be a better person. Don’t be so hard, and cruel that you forget to be kind. We want life to be better for everyone. We have to get back to being a function being. We want results. Help me develop the skills that I need to be a better person. We need to make good use of our time. Maybe life is really simple, simple is good. Do what you can.
