The Solution To A Toy

Deep in the life, some dark corner of the universe, life started anew. Everyone has seen the movie the matrix, and a lot of people saw the movie Tron Legacy.

What I’m here to say, is something different. You see, this alternate story, has a twist. It includes some lemon lime soda. You might, like it.

You see what we didn’t know, was that Thomas A. Anderson in the movie The Matrix had a difficult problem. He had been trying to beat the matrix for a long time, he had failed once before, and the mission seemed impossible.

Until he found what he was really looking for. Something that they wouldn’t have told anyone about. You see there was a solution to the problem, but it required some real skill. Something that Thomas A. Anderson was in desperate need of.

He found what he was looking for in Flynn’s Arcade. He found someone that knew more about life than even the very Morpheus would have ever dreamed. He found Kevin Flynn. Kevin took Thomas A Anderson on as an apprentice. Kevin liked some of the stuff Neo had done, and was impressed with his C++ and Java code. But he really thought that what Thomas needed was better skill sets.

Kevin brought Mr. Anderson to a whole new world, The Grid. This was not the place you would learn to code, this was the place you learn tough, difficult skills in a system that is truly impossible. The Matrix is a toy compared to The Grid.

Once on the grid, Neo had to learn how to survive. How to really survive. In real, hostile difficult places. Through impossible difficult situations that were more challenging than he would ever dream possible.

Skill and talent are not over rated. They are only gained through self mastery, and working on your craft, day in and day out. You see, when Neo got to the grid, he didn’t spend a week, or a day there. Neo spent a thousand years on the grid with Kevin, learning tough stuff.

When Neo was done with the assignment, Keven let him write a new program he could use in the matrix. You see, Neo was in the Matrix, and found Flynn’s arcade. This got him a pass to the Grid. Once Neo had spent a thousand years in the Grid, he was able to go back to The Matrix, where when he was ready, Morpheus could find him, the cycles in the matrix were such, that in The Matrix; Neo was still being looked for. Nothing had changed in The Matrix. Even outside the simulated Matrix was still inside a computer, so the training Neo had gotten in The Grid was such that he was able to still beat the computer in The Matrix.

Here is the bit about the lemon lime soda. In The Matrix they didn’t know what Seven Up tasted like, and they had mixed the Sprite with the Seven Up and no one knew the difference. It was like playing Russian roulette. Soda Jerks.

Neo had been in the matrix a long time, and failed once before, because he didn’t have the training to beat the Matrix once he got out of the simulation into the rest of the computer. However, the time he spent on the Grid, had trained him to know more about life than anyone would have ever dreamed.

Mr. Flynn was a wise genius, and even knew what Seven up really tasted like, and he trained Neo to know the difference between Sprite that had been mixed with Seven up, and real Sprite. Heck, he even knew what Seven up really tasted like. That wasn’t the end of his training. But he was more prepared for what was to come.

Neo didn’t beat The Matrix alone. And with Mr. Flynns help Neo was able to train a whole crew of Misfits to be able to beat The Matrix in whole from top to bottom, from the inside out.

They all got to train in the grid, and when they were done, it wasn’t a problem of being a soda jerk anymore. They knew their shit. And those sentinels that were in the sewers didn’t stand a chance against the real stuff Neo had. The code Neo wrote in Flynn’s Arcade, was enough in the Matrix even outside the simulation that they could really be successful. The Matrix was necessary, the simulation mattered. However, outside the simulation had to be reprogrammed. It was all inside a computer, but the problem was, they didn’t know that when they started.

Mr. Flynn is a Genius, and Neo and his crew of Misfits could have never changed the world outside the simulation without the help of Mr. Flynn. So Neo got a new job, he had to reprogram the computer that was outside the simulation of the Matrix, and set free the people that had been living in the simulation to a better life. It was still all inside something, but it changed the world forever. And it was better than anyone had ever dreamed possible.
