The Problem:

The more isolated you become, the weirder you get.

Some Thoughts

The more isolated you become, the stranger of a person you become. It seems, society cares nothing about these strangers living among them, and throws them away at will when they become too strange.

From research, you will find that isolation is used as punishment. Seems society punishes people it doesn’t like. People become strangers, and it seems they will never forgive them, but they will forget them in whole. It also seems that isolation is a form of oppression. They shouldn’t do that to people that have potential.

The weirder you get, the less people like you, and thus a self stoking cycle of being weirder than the day before, and no one will help you once you start down that road. They don’t care, how weird you get, because they won’t associate with you, to know just how weird you really are.

Society seems to function best, when everyone is just like each other. Maybe some kind of hive, something very Borg like. They feel conformity is a warm blanket, and they all follow along like flies on poo. Doesn’t seem to matter where its going, they don’t care about that. They don’t think about the possible outcomes, and continue to follow along, completely blind to what is taking place. They trust the system, and have no second guess about what could come from it.

What About Us?

What about us, are we to be forgotten and turned into nothing but some statistic? Some number in the system that doesn’t amount to much? You would think that every living person would have an existence value to the whole that makes them worth keeping around. Seems the weirder you get the less value you have to society. No one cares about eccentric people that have their own ideas about living. They are chalked up as being crazy and thus, they have a lower value of their existence. If no one will spend time with them, and bring them back into society, there is no hope but living a social outcast until they either tire of you and kill you, or you die. They hope you will die, seems no one in society cares about anyone but their own skin.

Wanted life better for everyone. These things shouldn’t happen in society. Seems peoples value of existence is not something fixed, but arbitrary. That doesn’t really work well when people are not valued more than trash. Seems no one is free from being subject to being expunged. Get weird, and people will run. No one comes back to fix what is broken. They just throw that shit away, and hope the trash truck comes on the right day.

Be Careful

Never throw a person away. You never know when you're going to need their help again. People are valuable, and have more potential than mortal humans can understand. You should be careful not to put too low an existence value on people.

Truth

Isolation sucks. The more isolated you become, the weirder you get. Get too weird, and no one has much use for you. People should not be robots, and should care about each other. You can make a machine smart, but you can not make a machine care. That is the difference between real people and fake people, real people care.
