The Mystic In My Boots
The Mystic In My Boots
Everyone has something. . .

Problem:
Life is uncertain. Life is complex. It is difficult to know. What is possible?
The Bad
Worst case scenario, the universe ends in a ball of fire, everyone living is burned in what will become hell, for a very long time. This is the worst case scenario. Chances of this actually happening, UNKNOWN. Anything is possible; however, not all things are probable.
Less Bad
My life will end when I get sick and die. That will be the end of my story, forever and ever; and no one will ever care. The fate of the human race will be unknown to me, or what the outcome of life’s events will be. Chances of this happening, LIKELY. Not much to say about this, this is what everyone expects to happen, and no one really knows much more than this about life. It is known, everyone gets sick and dies. It is unknown if anyone ever lives twice. No one knows.
Better
Life goes forward, and the world changes for the better. People stop getting sick and dying. People are kind and happy, and no one is hurting, or in pain. Chances of this happening, NOT LIKELY. No one can cure the worlds ills. No one in this world that is. What God will do, remains unknown. If he even cares about us at all. I’m sure he is very busy doing important things.
Good
Getting sick and dying, and being moved to another body for my next life. This would have some advantages, and could be a good thing. I could see some real benefits of this happening. Chances of this happening, UNKNOWN. Everyone might like to know if this option would ever work out. Many today would love to be able to get some new wet wear, and have a second shot at living.
Best:
I wake up from this nightmare, and find myself next to my wife in a world that is much better than this one. It was just a bad trip, and the way I remember it will forever be in my mind, but only as a memory. Chances of this happening, POSSIBLE. Not much is known about this world. People seem to be in a dream. They don’t think, they don’t listen, they don’t care. Talking with them, doesn’t seem to bring results. The coffee, cigarettes, and music are all pretty good here. But the rest of this world, is a damn fright. Some terror.
The Best
The universe goes out with a big bang, and everyone goes home. Everyone is happy, content, and well satisfied. No one was hurt, or made to feel like total trash. Life goes on, and everyone learned something from the lesson. Chances of this happening, POSSIBLE. Some things may take place. Life could change for the better, and be more wonderful than people would ever dream. Some dream, maybe the universe will not change its mind, and everyone goes home.
Dark
I get sick and die, and get sent to hell for eternity. Sometimes a forever is just a second. It may be a while, but it still ends. Some bad lesson, things you won’t want to do. Life is, things are. Deal with it. Chances of this happening, UNKNOWN. What I want to know, is why they won’t talk with me. Damn it. These people seem like a bunch of fakes that won’t tell anyone what they know. This cage, this damn prison, they like it.
Darker
I get sick and die, become a monster. The crimes committed against me, turn me into a monster that goes for more than they can bear. Some world, sick place. They should have been kind to me. Chances of this happening, UNKNOWN.
Conclusion
Stick with what is known, and possible. Don’t do things that are too far removed from what people know about. Some people like an adventure, but they have a saying: The difference between an adventure and suicide, is the margin for escape. The narrower the margin, the greater the adventure. So work out a way to make life better for everyone. Start being kind. Talk with your people. We want some adventure that works out for everyone. There must be some room for escape from this damn sick world. People have to wake up. Chances of this happening, EXPECTED.
