My Birthday Party

If you want to know how to participate read the directions below. The seventeenth is my birthday, and I want to invite all of you to participate. Here is how.

Spend the day in solitude, listening to music, writing in your journals, and take your best friend for a cup of coffee at mid-day. Then spend the rest of the afternoon staring at the ceiling while listening to music. Consider the times we spent together, and all the fun we had together. Write in your journals how grateful you are to know me, and have me in your life.

Please refrain from calling anyone, or texting anyone. You should ideally spend the day in solitude. I don’t want to see you call me, or text me. Really if you want to show you care, you can write me an email.

You can thank me later for the time you enjoyed on my birthday. Most people won’t read this far, much less follow instructions.
