The Problem:

The truth will set you free! My question is free from what? Being free from falsehood, is some freedom. Having accurate teachings, makes all the difference in the world. The truth will set you free. Does that mean freedom from slavery? What are we not free from once we have accurate information? Freedom from what?

To know the truth, you have to know
what some of the lies are!

Some people say that a lot of lies, have some truth to them. Thus, they seem believable. Some people, will nickel and dime you to death, trying to make you believe what they want you to believe.

To be honest, everyone that I look at in this world, seems to be enslaved to something. They all have cravings, or problems to deal with. Real freedom, to be free from oppression, repression, and depression; that is worth something!

Everything is cause and effect. And everything has ripples. Or shock waves. Seems things are happening in this world, that leave real waves coming across the human population. Everyone is feeling the effects of the world events taking place.

Freedom From False Teachings

Being free from false teachings, makes you able to make better choices. When you have accurate understanding of the truth, then that freedom sets you free from false beliefs. That is worth something.

Who can you trust in this world, that will have real answers? Seems there a million self help guru’s in this world, that all have a solution to your problems for a price. Remember, no guru can see through your eyes, or know what you have been through. My question about this is: Is my life a private experience, or does everyone else know everything I’ve thought, said, felt, or experienced? Maybe, they will someday. One can hope.

Free Your Mind

People believe in the things they have been taught. Unless something changes their beliefs, they continue to go down that road, regardless of where it goes. They even turn a blind eye to the facts that would say otherwise. And, they will fight you tooth and nail, if you don’t believe what they want you to. Really if there was a pill one could take, that shows them the truth, wouldn’t everyone want to take it? The pill is symbolic, it’s a choice between two options. The red pill or the blue pill presents a choice.

People that are happy with their lives, and don’t feel the need to understand; they have no desire to take the red pill. People that want to understand, people that want to know more, those people want to take the red pill. Everything has limits. When you know everything, there is nothing else to know, or understand. At that point in your life, you should be happy, content, and well adjusted to living. Right=?

The Problem:

Knowledge can be taught. Wisdom comes only with experience.

What experiences do most people have, that makes the teachings they have valuable? The truth will set you free! Freedom from what? Seems, we are all prisoners in this world, there is no place to run, no place to hide. Everywhere you go, there you are. You can never escape yourself!

Most people have experiences that allow them, to continue going down the same road. Most people see no reason to think about where the road goes. They either accept life, as absurd, a dream, or a mission. The truth will set you free. Free from this world? You would have to know what is out there, before you went and set yourself free from this world.

You would want to know, what to expect.

Primary’s

There is metaphysics. Ethics, and exercises. Most people, don’t worry about the metaphysics, and only concern themselves with the practices to maintain their ethics. Interesting Article about these ideas.

What Are People Really practicing? They watch TV, go to church, eat and work. There is the act of physically exercising, and some practices, exercise your mind. Most people avoid doing that.

A lot of people, want you to believe a lie. Because, it is either good for business, or they have some stakes in it. So if the truth will set you free, then you would be free from the lies. Then you can make better choices.

Truth

I know what they want. The only thing that I know for sure, they want a JW. My question, is why? If I have accurate understanding, and freedom from the lies, what else could they want from me? Seems to me, they want more than a good person. They want a religious person.

There is a difference between a religious person, and a spiritual person. A religious person will do what they are told, regardless if it is right or wrong. A spiritual person will make the best choice. Seems to me, they want religious people. Why?

Maybe, I shouldn’t have tried exploring the actual metaphysics of things, and stuck with the exercises, and ethics of the matters. However, when you have no choice other than thinking about life, the universe, and everything; you can get into all kinds of trouble. It has been stated, the answer is 42.

Which truth, will set you free? The truth about this world? The accurate teachings, or the freedom from the lies? How can a mind, like mine, know what to trust? Seems, the facts have all become shades of gray. All lies have some truth to them. So knowing the facts, from the fiction; matters a lot.

Conclusion

In the event, there are only two choices to choose from; always choose the total truth, over some of the truth. You need proof. And a mind, that has not been tampered with from outside forces. If you can trust yourself, then you might have the freedom to choose from the facts. A sane mind, can tell truth from lies.

If you looked at things from only one perspective, then you would have a slant on the problem. You have to be open minded enough, to think about things from more than one angle. People seem to think, or maybe feel; that causes problems with the ethics of the matter. Use your best judgement about these issues. Should a person think about the metaphysics of the matters? Why not?
