The Problem:

There is a difference between solitude, and isolation. There are some very real dangers associated with isolation, that most people, won’t tell you about.

  1. Becoming Self Absorbed
  2. De-Humanizing
  3. Suicide
  4. Anti-Social Behavior

Becoming Self Absorbed

When a person spend too much time alone, they withdraw into themselves. And as a result, the only thing that they can think of, is themselves. We see it becoming very common today; that people only care about themselves. Seems, love and kindness have become a luxury good in life.

You become self absorbed in yourself, and no longer care about anyone else, or what they need, or want. You loose the ability to see things for what they are, and hence; people all seem to suck.

De-Humanizing

Being alone without social structure, is dehumanizing, and results in making a person feel like they are not human. This if left unchecked, will have very bad side effects. When a person no longer feels human, they loose touch with reality, and become angry, bitter, and violent.

Again, it seems love and kindness have become luxury goods in life. If they stopped dehumanizing people, we could all be able to live nice lives. In today’s cancel culture, and the way people treat each other, its is enough to make a person want to die.

Suicide

Too much isolation can drive a person to want to die. When no one will listen, or help, and you feel like you have problems that you are unable to solve yourself; when there is abuse, and mis-treatment. It can be enough to drive a person to want to die. You would have to wonder, in the event they were being abused; if it wasn’t murder? For someone to push your boundaries to the point that you want to die, that seems like attempted murder to me.

With today’s cancel culture, and the way people ghost each other, finding someone to talk with, seems almost impossible. Truth is, most people; don’t give a shit about your mental health, and only care about themselves.

Anti-Social Behavior

When a person has been alone a long time, the slightest twitch from someone else, could be enough to send them way over the edge. Who knows, what kind of bad results could come from someone that has been alone and isolated for long periods of time, and exposed to other people that seem like enemies.
