Should A Person Get Attention For The Good They Do?
Balance matters a lot.

The Problem:
Should a person receive attention for the good they do? If yes, then how much attention for their efforts is enough? Having proper balance in life; matters a lot.
Thoughts
I’ve worked for years, putting my best efforts forward, and seen very little real success from my efforts. My efforts doesn’t feel like it has led to having earned people’s respect, trust, and love.
Hence, it feels like I’m going to die a failure. I’m not working for money, have very few, if any friends; and have very limited support in my efforts. With no feedback, or rewards for my efforts; it seems that either the work, is not finished yet; or maybe, I desperately need a muse.
Would like to see results from my efforts. The rewards wouldn’t necessarily be counted with dollar signs; but in the good that my efforts produce. When people are happy; they are easier to deal with.
It feels like I am suffocating in my own personal vacuum, where I’m the only person here, and no one else will listen, read, or think. What I long for is some real conversations about what I’ve done here. You would have to read the whole thing, from the bottom up; to understand it all.
However, I assure you; if you were to read the whole thing, it would make some sense. Just reading one article; doesn’t provide enough perspective, to put things in the right light for understanding. You would have to read the whole thing. My advice, is start at the oldest posts, and read up to the latest ones.
Some Problems
When a person doesn’t get attention from the good they are doing, it leads to a feeling of personal crisis. Some existential crash; and may cause people to seek attention through other means, that are both destructive, and less than positive. We want to avoid those kinds of problems in society, and in our lives.
Seems people don’t care, and have so much apathy that they don’t know which way is up. Most people, don’t talk with strangers, and it hasn’t made me feel all that welcome in this world; there are eight billion people here; and often, it feels like there isn’t anyone to talk with. That, sucks!!
Solutions
Stop! Listen, and think. Spend some time, and meditate on what I’m talking about here. I’ve said this before, it would be better to have a hundred people that understand what I’m talking about; then have a million readers in zombie mode; who have eye balls, but don’t understand my efforts. I’m not looking for the most page views, I’m looking for the best results. To get results, people have to understand what I’m talking about, and be able to talk about it, and understand it.
And, in the event that you don’t understand what I’m talking about, you should talk with me about that. Really have a conversation with me about the points that don’t make sense. Maybe, the confusion can be cleared up?
The Truth
Want your love, trust, and respect. If my work, isn’t building those things with other people; then what good is it? Any zombie can click the like button, and say: “Nice Article.” However, a real person would talk about it, and have something to say about it; and maybe even share it with others.
What I don’t know, is if my work is having the desired effects, and if it is having the desired effects, why I don’t feel the love, trust, and respect. In the event my work isn’t having the desired effects; then things have to change a whole lot. So which is it?
Do people understand what I’m talking about; or are they in zombie mode, and couldn’t care either way? If you read it in zombie mode, I’m not going to believe, that you are a real person. And, that will cause all kinds of bad problems for everyone. I’m looking for real people, that can think, listen, and do something about the problems. Want good results from my efforts, and that means being able to gain people’s love, trust, and respect.
Conclusion
Everyone needs some attention in life. Without a good balance of attention, and feedback; it feels like a person is working in a vacuum, and then they run the risk of doing things for attention; that have negative side effects. And, when no one listens to the positive things, or the negative things; then it feels like none of the people in this world, can think, listen, or act.
It would cause someone to arrive at the conclusion, that these are not real people, and that they are all in zombie mode; unable to do more than click the like button; total slaves, and mindless idiots. That would be a sad day.
