The Problem:

The mind. The minds of most humans, is very limited in what it can process, or comprehend. Most humans, hate philosophy, or anything that requires highly abstract thinking. They like things they know, are certain, and doesn’t disrupt their current belief systems at all. They really like a lot of certainty, and being able to not talk about things that may or may not be true.

Most humans, are able to grasp simple things. The weather, politics, religion, and the food. They talk a lot about money; and either how to make a lot of it, or save a few pennies on something. They don’t understand when people do things, that are less than practical.

Talking about things, that are uncertain, or not true; causes them to not like a person much. They really don’t like it when people do that. Unless you can come up with some hard proof, and evidence about something, it is best to not really go into it with them.

Yet

I’ve yet to find people who enjoy a good conversation about abstract things, that are either unknown, or considered to be way out there somewhere in outer space. Most people aren’t able to wrap their minds around big ideas, or things that make their heads hurt. They don’t like thinking much, because they don’t like having to deal with the pain of actually thinking. Most of them, aren’t using their minds to do what they do. Think of a plane on autopilot. Or maybe a robot in a factory, that puts wheels on cars. They understand stuff like that. That is a metaphor of how they understand things, they mostly run, on autopilot. Say anything that they don’t understand well, and it sends up red flags that they get really worried about, or have a difficult time with.

Happy people are easier to deal with. It is best, not to talk with them, about things they don’t understand. They don’t want to know, and likely; they don’t even care. That is the truth of the matter, they really could not care what you think if it is different than what they believe. And, if you think too much about things they don’t understand, they avoid you like you have a flu.

Peaceful

Sometimes, it is best; to just let them talk. It will bore the life out of you; however, the less they know and understand; maybe the best. When you find someone real enough to have a conversation with, that isn’t faking it; then have the kinds of conversations that you long for. There may only really be, fifty people in the whole universe that would understand what I’m talking about. That is not an exact number; and may not be accurate. Maybe a few more, or less. They are, a really rare breed. And they should be properly cared for, and loved whole heartedly. That is for sure.

This world

This world, will try diligently to tell you who you are, and what box you fit into. And, trying to figure out what box you want to fit into; is a lesson you don’t want to try. There is a quote:

Specialization is for insects — Robert Heinlein

They have also said, something to the effect that a jack of all trades, is a master of none. However, I’ve heard it said, that is better than a master of one. What is true? You will have to work those things out for yourself. What ever you do, do it to the best of your abilities. While it is important to not be a perfectionist, you should be diligent in your efforts. Do the best you can, with what you have. Do better than try; use good tools in what you do.

Some Advice

Just some friendly advice. Don’t get too cerebral. It makes a mess, and is a problem when you go too deep into your own mind. There are locked doors in your mind for a reason, and you shouldn’t go around unlocking those doors to see what is inside, unless you have very good reason to do such, and know the contents of said door. May I suggest, that you spend some time reading a book, and listening or making music? It would be better for you in the long run. Forty-Two!
