An Idea About What Gardens Should Be

A fictional story about gardens. Don’t ask me, what music I’ve listened to, or what dreams I’ve had. Sometimes, things are best, left a mystery.

The Story

In a world, a kinder, and more gentile world. Where even the climate is a lot more gentile. There are no automobiles, no planes, trains, or buses. It is however true, that everyone has a garden.

And really that is where things get real interesting. I’ve often thought, that I personally have no desire to be a farmer. I would however do some gardening if the situations where like this.

The technology to open the gateways, is in the plants. And everyone has a garden. Like I said, there are no automobiles. If you want to visit someone, you use the portal in your garden. We use the technology like the phones, and computers to communicate with each other, and the technology of the plants, to be able to travel long distances, in a matter of a second. Its simple, you walk into the portal and arrive at your destination. In a easy second.

There is the universal router, that sends your messages to you, regardless of where you are. They arrive on your phone, or computer, just like they should.

This world, that has no automobiles, planes, or trains, is someones home world. And things are built to last, and work like they should. From this world, a person with access to the gateway; has access to a whole number of entire universes at their disposal. And there are places, that exist, where there is a whole universe, of just places to eat. I won’t talk about where the food comes from, but it all comes from somewhere.

And a person can have friends, in other universes, and still be able to communicate using a mobile phone, or computer. And, the messages arrive in an instant.

There are however hovercraft, for things like repairs, and maintenance. Where people that do the work come from, and use as transportation. That way if something breaks down, you are not without anything. And most people can do the work themselves these days. What is more, maybe they come when invited through your portal? Have something break down, and a team of people will arrive through your portal, to fix the problem.

We wouldn’t even need hovercraft very often. That would be pretty neat. A person could live, in remote places, with very few people around, and still make time, to see your family and friends. I would stand in line for this.

It seems to me, this world be a good solution to a lot of problems. All these first world problems, would be a thing of the past. It would be pretty cool.

You get dressing the morning, and do some gardening. Then take a trip through the portal, and arrive where you need to be. The garden technology makes it possible. The phones are just used to send messages to people, who are far away.

Technically, you could eat, in a different restaurant, every day; and in a whole 80 years, never eat at the same place twice. That might be interesting, in some ways.

There could be some downsides to it; like having lovers in three different kingdoms, and they bitch you out, when you don’t show up on a regular basis. However, if the rules are fair, those things shouldn’t be too serious.
