A Conversation Between Two Immortals

Diamonds From Amber

The Fictional Story — between two immortals

In the depths of a kingdom in the Virgo Galaxy, an ultra important meeting is taking place; between two immortals.

This is a partial log of the conversation; what they talked about before, and after these events, will remain confidential.

A side note for mortals: 1 Eon = 1 Billion years.

##

Amber: We talked about this. Five eons ago, I asked for permission to use some of the empty space, in the Virgo constellation for personal use.

Alex: okay, so how did it go?

Amber: Well, I am well pleased. You wouldn’t believe me, about how well pleased I really am.

Alex: Why not, did something go badly?

Amber: No the free space was a perfect fit. I put five whole galaxies into the area, and grew diamonds.

Alex: And you used my space, because?

Amber: I was preparing a gift for you, while you were busy. I knew that the father was going to reset your mind, between then and now; and I wanted to make it up to you.

Alex: Yeah, I don’t remember our conversation about using space in the Virgo constellation. So what happened?

Amber: Well, it took three eons, and a lot of work. I did however, grow enough diamonds; to leave you with a fortune that any immortal would be jealous of.

Alex: Really? Like what kind of fortune?

Amber hands Alex, a holograph disk, with the bank balance on it.

Alex: This is the deposit? That is a lot of zero’s!!!!

Amber: If you wanted to, you could spend a trillion dollars a day, for a whole eon, and never run out of money. It went, that well for me.

Amber: The harvest was a pain in the neck, but we did it for you. Because we love you.

Alex: And what is your take in this transaction?

Amber: I want to buy immunity from you. See I have this problem, and I want to make sure, that it’s taken care of.

Alex: and what problem is that, exactly?

Amber: I’m asking, that you keep your nose out of my business, in the Andromeda galaxy, until my project completes.

Alex: And, just how long will that take?

Amber: About four more eons.

Alex: So you want to buy me out, to keep out of your business?

Amber: Well, just until the project completes. I don’t want you showing up, and trying to make yourself famous in my galaxy while I’m running this project.

Alex: And the money is good, where?

Amber: Everywhere in the Milky Way galaxy, and for anything you want in the Virgo constellation; except in the Andromeda galaxy. You name it, you can have it.

Alex: That sounds like an interesting business proposition.

Alex: What exactly are you afraid of happening?

Amber: Well, not going to tell you that. It’s unthinkable.

Amber: And you have a nasty habit, of thinking things that are unthinkable. So let’s say that anything you dream up, would be the problems I am trying to avoid.

Alex: That’s funny. You use space in my constellation, and build me a deposit of wealth, that I could never spend, and ask only that I stay out of your business.

Amber: Well, I thought we could spend some time together, and this will fund, all the movies in the world, that you want to make with me.

Alex: That, sounds pretty good. We could have some fun.

Alex: What I want to know, is did you clean up your mess you made in my constellation?

Amber: Well of course I did. I imploded the galaxies I was using to grow diamonds in, and used the black hole nearby to vacuum clean the mess up. Then I imploded the black hole, and it had almost zero effect on the rest of the constellation.

Amber: I promise everything is good as new for you. I didn’t even leave a speck of dust particle in the whole area.

And there you have a story about two immortals.
