Seasons Changing And Growth

An Ode To Spring
An Ode To Spring

The seasons are changing, and sometimes that is a very good thing. Old man winter, is taking a vacation, I doubt that he will retire in whole; no come fall he will be back to show his face.

The Tree

The cherry plumb tree is in bloom. It is clear that spring has arrived. What we need to know, is why is right now so cold? Some sense of the weather playing pranks with mortals, where nothing is promised.

The cherry plumb tree in bloom is a good sign. The fact that the blossoms have finally opened, shows there is some hope on the horizon that winter will eventually retreat from being in full force, and that maybe a more gentile period will come; and brush away the bitter cold.

winters darkness, may be sung in lament
where I go now;

Cheery spring arrives in March,
With the coming equinox, so things turn
the birds are in love, and the bees hum a tune.
Where does winter go, when his turn is over?

Give way to changes.
The new wind blowing into town.
It might be very good times,
Some say they dare dream,
for simpler times.

If you knew, what the seasons mean.
The seasons know a short time.
Pay them their due, at the changing of the guard.
Before you know it, fall will be at the door.

Maybe this year, will find what I’m seeking. . .
