Ephemeral Worlds and Problems
The Problem:
Everything in this world, is temporary. When you are stuck with a broken body; it feels like forever that you have to live with those problems.
However, the problems are all temporary. And things decay. Everything breaks down, after long enough. Nothing really lasts. And most things, only have temporary value.
What
How does one deal with a world, where problems seem to be plenty? Sometimes, it helps a lot; to have a sense of humor about them. What else can one do? I’ve thought about these things, a long time.
Seems the best one can do; is align their attitude with their goals.
Doesn’t seem anything else, is going to work. And really it feels like most things in this world; are broken, or not doing good. So, when it all goes to hell in a hand basket, the only thing we can do about it; is laugh.
Sometimes, being too serious is a problem. How serious should a person be? That is an important question, that needs a good answer to it.
Be too serious, and no one wants to be around you; because you feel like a drag to them. And they don’t like it, when you are not taking things seriously.
Yet, life is meant to be lived. And really the ability to enjoy living, is very important. Hence, you have to have a sense of humor about things.
I’m pretty sure, that even God, has a sense of humor. It would make sense.
Life
Life sure feels serious. Most people don’t have a sense of humor about nothing. And really that makes for difficult living. In the event, you want life to be better, then it helps a lot; if you lighten up.
When you are living with a broken body/mind, everything feels so much heavier. It isn’t easy, to deal with that. And too much seriousness, only makes it worse.
The truth of the matter is: Life is short. Deal with it. Sometimes it feels really long, and like its a lot to have to endure. Do what you can, to enjoy being alive. Sometimes, that means having a good belly laugh.
Deal with it. Move on. Get new living. Someday these problems aren’t going to make any difference. And it helps to keep that in mind. These things in this world, are temporary. Everything is ephemeral. Everything breaks down, and decays. Nothing really lasts.
Therefore, take life as you find it; and make the best of it. A good thing to keep in mind: Memento Mori. Take that to heart. Someday we won’t be here. And what will remain, of the world as we know it? Eons have strange ways. Things change. Unless you plan on living for eons; life is very short.
And really in the event you haven’t thought about living for eons, you would do well to give it some thought. Because you never know, what will happen.
