The Story:

In a future world, where everything has been made right. I won’t go into everything that is, or what has been fixed; however, I will give this account.

The Trees Know

Imagine a future; where you can talk with trees. Where if you want to know what the weather is going to do; you go ask a tree. It will tell you an account of what the weather is doing, in detail.

And if you care to know, it will tell you what the weather was like; for every single day that it has been alive; recounted by the years and the day.

Want to know about the storm in ‘20? The tree remembers it. In detail. You can talk to the tree about the weather, until you are blue in the face; or the tree gets tired of you asking nosey questions about the weather.

Maybe it knows other things too? You never know. It might be able to give you advice, about when to plant your flowers. Or even, what to feed them. It might have expert advice about your garden, and the weather coming in the next year.

What do you think?

It might be interesting. To know what a tree thinks. You would have to learn their language; and how to address them. It might be a conversation, that takes all day long. You might like it.

You would have to wonder, after talking with a tree, what else is known? They may have secrets, that they don’t tell mortals. Things you could only dream about. I’m not saying they know about stars, or galaxies. But they might even know something about life; that would blow your mind.

Make friends with a tree. You might be able to hear their jokes, and have a good laugh. Just don’t tell them, that they are getting fat. Not unless you think, they wouldn’t laugh about your fine figure.

Plant a tree. You might be happy you did. You could have a long term friend. So take care of the planet. And, make friends with a tree.
